What's MyPresensi?
MyPresensi is an online attendance application developed for PT. Tiga Putri Jakarta to facilitate secure and contactless employee check-ins and check-outs during the COVID-19 pandemic. It provided a reliable way to track employee attendance schedules and monitor team productivity remotely.
Problem Statement
Situation: The global COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally disrupted traditional office routines, making conventional fingerprint attendance machines a health hazard and rendering them useless for employees working from home. PT. Tiga Putri Jakarta needed a rapid, secure, and intuitive digital solution to accurately track employee hours, ensure operational continuity, and safeguard employee health without sacrificing administrative oversight.
The Process & Workflow
Task & Action: The primary objective was to deploy a seamless mobile and web ecosystem that allowed employees to log attendance with geolocation and photo verification. The project was divided into essential development phases:
Web Dashboard Implementation
Developed a comprehensive web-based admin panel to allow HR managers to monitor attendance in real-time, generate automated monthly reports, and oversee leave requests. The dashboard was designed for clarity and ease of use to streamline HR operations.
Mobile App Development
Built a user-friendly mobile application enabling employees to easily clock in and out from anywhere. Integrated essential features such as geolocation tagging and selfie verification to prevent location spoofing and ensure attendance accuracy.

Lesson Learned
Developing MyPresensi under the rapid constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic reinforced the importance of agile development and user-centric design. Implementing strict features like geolocation and photo verification had to be balanced with an incredibly simple UI so employees of all technical backgrounds could adapt instantly. It demonstrated how digital transformation, when executed empathetically, can safeguard both business operations and human health.
